In the last entry we found that a Priory of Sion group had surfaced and their blurb said that "It is estimated that there are now some 12+13 “Priories of Sion” that have naturally proliferated, partly since the publication of the highly controversial book of the time; “Holy blood holy Grail” by Henry Lincoln et al, 1983 and of course the Da Vinchi code 2006, also in part due to resent Grand masters returning to being “Unknown Superiors”, thus the line of transmission has become obscured."

The site then claimed that; The Priory of Sion is not a “Masonic” order, though many members hold joint membership, there is an overlapping also of members and teachings of the various Martinist orders, Rosicrucians, the C.B.C.S (Chavalier Benificant de la Cité Santé) and the former Rite of Strict Observance, specifically in relation to the le Prieuré de Sion (Rectifé), or in English; The Priory of Sion (Rectified).

Johnn I, Nautonier, Le Prieuré de Sion (Rectifé) said that; Until very recently, I would never have expected, or felt confident to be “called” to leadership within the Priory. Nonetheless, I have now unexpectedly been “called” and duly summoned by my “Unknown superiors” to set sail on a journey to attempt to “rectify” Sion, which I believe in all sincerity to be the correct way forward.I have felt it necessary to add the appellation “Rectifé”, or “Rectified” to the name Priory of Sion as I received it; to distinguish and differentiate it, in an attempt to correct the errors and reform the abuses which have so abundantly been illustrated in recent times. It is with some trepidation that we are to some extent in the public domain. I truly hope that we will only attract the genuine grail seeker who is “called” to search for divine self-knowledge-the liberation of the soul, which is our sole purpose.

Another group has surfaced - and seems to have its finger deeper in the Rennes-le-Château pie. Somehow mixed up with Gino Sandri, who has been doing the rounds for years - has fallen fowl of his Priory! See 'official' ruling below :)
