MR. CUMENGE READS THE FOLLOWING MEMOIR ON HIS TRIP TO RENNES-LES-BAINS (AUDE). [1862]

The interesting thing about this article is the archaeology that Cumenge talks about seeing. For me, the information about the Temple or Palace he saw the foundations of in the village is spectacular. I continue to investigate. 

For me there is a possible lost Roman village below the modern village of Rennes. This fascinated such people like Cherisey .... and I think the true treasure may be why it is really this village that is the mysterious place, while Rennes-le-Chateau appears to be the fake face of the whole Affair!
