During Paul Saussez's conference on July 14 in Rennes-le-Château, the least we can say is that the speaker threw a famous stone into the Castelrennaise pond: "The Forgotten Crypt, further investigation". The sequel, could we expect, from his 2023 book... Nope! In the 2 pdfs below, condensed from the second part of his conference "Cryptology", Paul Saussez announces that research on Nicolas Poussin, Teniers, the horse of god, the blue apples, pax 681, the daemon, etc., can be thrown into oblivion and with them books on the enigma... Read!!!

EULER'S WALK

The knight's path is not illustrated in Euler's article, but by connecting the squares in order from 1 to 64, the star-shaped path is drawn!

Chérisey does not say it - since he does not know it either - but this path is applied to the first chessboard after a 180° rotation!

Finally, on the second chessboard, the path is not the same: it is the reversed up/down mirror of the previous one!
